GROWING KINDNESS

VOLUNTEERS FROM CONVERGINT TECHNOLOGIES PLANT SEEDS OF KINDNESS FOR OPTIONS FOR COMMUNITY LIVING'S RESIDENTS

Twenty-eight employees from Convergint Technologies recently spent the day planting and painting at a home owned and operated by Options for Community Living. This is the third year that a team of volunteers from Convergint has come to the aid of the not-for-profit organization by making substantial improvements to one of its homes.

“Options provides supported housing to hundreds of Long Islanders; individuals and families,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Options’ executive director. “We are responsible for maintaining more than 150 properties located across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Volunteers have a significant impact on our work, and we are particularly grateful to this group from Convergint. They made improvements that were far beyond all our expectations.”
