HAUPPAUGE DISTRICT WELCOMES NEW EDUCATOR

SMITHTOWN'S CAITLIN CLASSEY TO TEACH SPECIAL EDUCATION AT FOREST BROOK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Hauppauge School District is pleased to welcome Caitlin Classey as a new special education teacher at Forest Brook Elementary School. She previously was a special education teacher at P.S. 155 William Paca in Manhattan, New York and also served as a teaching assistant at Pines Elementary School, among others teaching positions.

Classey received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Study and Speech Communications and a Masters of Arts degree in Literacy/Cognition from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York. She holds professional certifications in Literacy, Birth to Grade 6; Early Childhood Education, Birth to Grade 2; Childhood Education, Grades 1 to 6; Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2; and Students with Disabilities, Grades 1 to 6.

Classey is a resident of Smithtown, New York.
