High School West DECA Lights Up the Holiday Season

Smithtown High School West’s Distributive Club of America (DECA) sponsored a holiday tree lighting festival at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center on Dec. 4.

The event included warm refreshments, delicious treats and performances by the Great Hollow Middle School select chorus, the Smithtown High School West jazz choir, the Accompsett Middle School kickline and the Smithtown Dynamic Twirlers. West DECA also conducted a food drive and Santa made an appearance, courtesy of the Smithtown Fire Department.

DECA students and Little Miss Nesconset Madison Lofrese performed the honors of lighting the St. Catherine’s tree. The High School West DECA adviser is Denise Massimo.
