Horse Stuck In The Mud At Long Island Park Freed By Police
The horse was freed, and its owners took it in for an evaluation. "Good job to all!" the police wrote.

SMITHTOWN, NY — A horse that was stuck in the mud at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown on Monday afternoon was rescued by Suffolk police officers.
"Nobody wants to be a stick in the mud!" the department wrote.
The horse was saved from the sticky situation by Emergency Service Section and Fourth Precinct officers shortly after 5:10 p.m. The steed was brought for an evaluation by its owners.
