2nd Grade At The Ivy League School Pumpkin Patch
Every year our PTO organizes our amazing Halloween Bash and every year we always have a couple of leftover pumpkins. Rather than dispose of them in the garbage, we put them in our woods to biodegrade. Late last summer we were walking our dog, Kate, and noticed that a pumpkin plant had taken root near our zipline.
Since we were already dirty from our potato harvest with the kindergarten and preschool classes (See Post), we rounded up our 2nd graders for a trip to the Ivy League School Pumpkin Patch. Each student was able to pick a pumpkin and they even picked one for Ms. Haskins.
