Lake Grove QuickChek Open For Business
New convenience store is located on Middle Country Road.
Long Island’s first QuickChek is open for business.
The New Jersey-based company says the ”Grand Opening Celebration” for its new convenience store in Lake Grove started at midnight on Monday.
The Lake Grove store, located at 2686 Middle Country Road, is the first of several QuickChek’s planned for Long Island. Currently, QuickChek has more than 130 stores throughout New Jersey and southern New York and employs more than 3,500. A ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the new store will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Company officials say the Lake Grove store, which will be open 24/7, is creating 35 new jobs, will boost the local economy and will create approximately $1 million in tax revenue.
