LI Babies Gear Up For Second Annual Diaper Derby
Spirited Crawling Competition returns to Smith Haven Mall on April 11, 2015
Long Island’s cutest babies on the move are invited to show off their newly discovered crawling skills and participate in Smith Haven Mall’s second annual Diaper Derby competition on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Hosted by WBLI’s Jayson from Dana & Jayson in the Morning and Syke!, this free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Center Court. Crawlers under the age of 12 months who are NOT walking yet are eligible to compete in one of six heats, with the fastest crawlers moving on to the semi-finals and grand finale. Prizes will be awarded to first-place, second-place and third-place participants.
Participants will be treated to complimentary refreshments, funny baby-themed photo booth, raffles, special discounts and more. In addition, the first 200 people who register will receive a diaper swag bag filled with goodies.
