Smithtown Supervisor Republican Primary Too Close To Call

It's a tight race between incumbent Patrick Vecchio and challenger Edward Wehrheim.

With all districts reporting, Edward Wehrheim is leading incumbent Patrick Vecchio by a margin of 2,822 to 2,783, according to unofficial results.

Wehrheim received the endorsement of the Smithtown GOP even though Vecchio has been the town supervisor for the last four decades.
