Man Charged With Robbing Nesconset 7-Eleven At Gunpoint

NESCONSET, NY - A Ronkonkoma man was arrested for robbing a Nesconset 7-Eleven at gunpoint on Sunday, according to Suffolk Police.

The robbery was reported at the convenience store on 235 Smithtown Boulevard at 4:35 a.m.

John Giunta, 29, entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded cash, police said. He then fled with the money.

Giunta was later arrested and charged with second degree robbery.
