LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police say stole from a Lake Grove store this month.

A man entered the Macy's at Smith Haven Mall around 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 8 and stole clothes valued around $1,400, police said.

Police described the man as having a beard and wearing a baseball cap, glasses and a camouflage jacket.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
