SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who stole property from the front of a Nesconset home this summer.

A man stole an American flag from the front of a Summit Drive home around 5:45 a.m. Aug. 7. He is wanted for petty larceny.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
