Man Wanted In Nesconset Store Theft: Police

Sixth Precinct officers are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of stealing merchandise from a Nesconset store.

NESCONSET, NY — Suffolk County Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a petit larceny at a Nesconset store, police said.

According to police, the suspect stole merchandise from T.J. Maxx at 5125 Nesconset Highway on Dec. 15 around 9:20 p.m.

Police said the theft occurred inside the store, and investigators are working to identify the suspect.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or submitting a tip online. All tips are kept confidential, police said.
