Man Wanted For Questioning In Connection To Pool Vacuum Theft: PD
The man was seen in the area the day that $7K worth of pool vacuums were stolen, police say. When asked, he said he was looking for a bike.

SMITHTOWN, NY - Suffolk Police are looking for a man wanted for questioning in connection to an incident during which pool vacuums were stolen from a Smithtown business last month.
Someone cut the lock on a storage unit and stole a total of seven Maytronics M500 and S300i pool vacuums from Chemex Pool Supply on 400 West Main Street during the overnight hours between May 29 and 30.
The stolen vacuums have a combined value of $7,000.

The man (pictured above) was described as Hispanic, 5-foot-7 with an average build, dark-colored hair and a beard.
When asked by staff why he was at the location, the man, who spoke limited English, said he was looking for a lost bicycle.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
