Man & Woman Steal Woman's Purse At Suffolk Macy's
The man nabbed the purse and hid it using the woman's coat, police say. They are wanted for grand larceny.
LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the pair who stole a woman's pocketbook from a Lake Grove store earlier this month.
A customer left her purse at the Macy's in Smith Haven Mall on Dec. 3 around 6:30 p.m. A man snatched the purse and concealed it using the coat of the woman who was with him, police said. The man and woman left the store with the purse which contained cash and credit cards.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
