Nesaquake Chorus Opens for the Isles

Select chorus performs National Anthem before recent NHL game.

Led by chorus teacher Rachel Greenblatt, the Nesaquake Middle School Select Chorus stepped onto the Nassau Coliseum ice to perform the national anthem for an audience of more than 14,000 National Hockey League fans.

Greenblatt and the select chorus performed a beautiful rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” prior to a recent New York Islanders game against the Boston Bruins. The ovation from the fans lasted long after the students walked off the ice.
