St. James resident, singer/songwriter/actress PARIS RAY (aka Paris Rose Yates) will be opening for KATRINA (of Katrina & the Waves - “Walking on Sunshine”) Tues, March 17th at 7:30pm at Page One Restaurant, 90 School St., Glen Cove, NY as part of My Father’s Place LIVE Concert Series!

PARIS RAY BIO: Paris Ray is a 19 yr old indie singer/songwriter, recording artist & accomplished actress & voice over artist from Long Island, NY. Her unique voice, originality and soulful lyrics will blow you away! She is a two time finalist for CBS’ Grammy Gig of a Lifetime in 2013 & 2014 and was a top 5 finalist for Best Female Musician in Dan’s Hampton’s Paper 2012 Best of the Best. With past headlining performances in venues from Manhattan to East End of Long Island including The Bitter End, The National Underground, Live at Deepwells & many more, Paris is getting her name out there and getting noticed. She most recently opened for Jon Herington of Steely Dan at The Falcon & will open for Katrina of Katrina & the Waves on March 17, 2015. She has also performed at Stephen Talkhouse, The Suffolk Theatre and numerous cafes, charity events, festivals & beaches including Southampton Summer Fair & Festival and Emmanuel Cancer Foundation Fundraiser. In 2013 Paris sang the National Anthem for a Mets/Dodgers game at CitiField and was honored when asked to perform one of her orignals at a wedding in Connecticut for the bride & groom’s first dance. To date Paris has written well over 40 songs that have become popular on her Youtube channel. When Paris was 16 she started recording her first debut album which was released in Sept. 2012 & is available on iTunes & CDBaby. She is currently in the studio working on her new album.
