Pedestrian Killed In Route 347 Crash In Lake Grove Identified: Police
The 46-year-old woman was struck and killed near Moriches Road, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — Police have identified the pedestrian who was killed in a motor vehicle crash Monday night on Route 347 in Lake Grove.
Elizabeth Jensen, 46, who police described as undomiciled, was struck while in the roadway of Route 347 at Moriches Road at around 10:15 p.m. on Jan. 26, according to Suffolk County police.
Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives said Jensen was struck by an eastbound 2023 Honda HR-V. She was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.

The driver of the Honda, a 19-year-old woman from East Northport, was not injured. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
