Police Seek Help to Find Women Who Stole Handbags, Shoes

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating two women who they say stole merchandise from a Lake Grove store last month.

On May 12 at approximately 6 p.m., the two women pictured above entered the DSW shoe store, located at 3190 Middle Country Road in Lake Grove, police said.

The women removed security devices from Michael Kors handbags and numerous pairs of footwear items and left the store without paying for the merchandise, police said. They may have fled in a gray SUV, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
