Police Seeking Man Who Vandalized a Pool Filter in Lake Grove

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who vandalized a pool filter in Lake Grove earlier this month.

An unknown man entered the property on foot, broke pool filter equipment and dumped chlorine tablets on landscaping on September 9 sometime between 10:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., police said.

Police are not releasing where the incident took place for investigative reasons.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
