King Leonidas came to the shelter in a group of feral kittens. He’s extremely shy and requires a lot of time and patience to warm up to you. He gets along with the other cats and likes eating treats.

The Smithtown Animal Shelter is located on 410 Middle Country Road and is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the shelter, visit their website here.
