Smithtown Booster Club Summer Camp In Full Swing: Photos

Students of all ages can play several sports, including badminton, baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, softball, and tennis.

SMITHTOWN, NY — The Smithtown Booster Club Summer Camp activities are going strong as students hone their athletic skills, the Smithtown School District announced.

Students of all ages across the school district have their choices of badminton, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, field hockey, football, softball, tennis, twirling, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, and kick line.

The camps are directed by head coaches from Smithtown High School East and Smithtown High School West, as well as other coaches throughout the district. In addition, former
alumni from both Smithtown High Schools pitch in as volunteers.

The students learn the fundamentals of each sport.

"I want them to learn but, most importantly, have fun because it’s camp," said Stephen Costello, a high school lacrosse coach.
