Smithtown Chocolate Shop Announces Closure

SMITHTOWN, NY - A specialty chocolate shop in Smithtown recently shut it doors.

Yottabyte, located on 9 Singer Lane, announced the closure earlier this month.

In a Facebook post, the owners wrote they have closed the store to spend some "much need family time" and to prepare for the future.

"The worst part about saying farewell to the storefront is missing the chance to see our 'regulars,'" the post reads.

Chocolate lovers can still get their fix on the Yottabyte's website, which will be relaunched just in time for Valentine's Day 2019.

The business will also be filling orders for retail bars online.

Yottabyte opened in Smithtown just last year.
