Smithtown Cross-Country Girls: League Champs for 7th Consecutive Year

Team captures yet another championship.

Congratulations to the Smithtown High School East and West (combined) varsity girls cross-country team for clinching their seventh consecutive League I Championship with a win over William Floyd High School, 17-46. The team finished the season 5-0 in the league and hasn’t lost a dual meet since September 2007. Head coach Veronica Welsh and assistant coach Brian Willman are pictured here with the team.
