Smithtown Library Trustee Election, Budget Vote: Results

SMITHTOWN, NY — Three new trustees were elected to The Smithtown Library's board on Tuesday night, with neither of the two incumbents retaining their seats.

Annette Galarza, Mildred Bernstein, and Howard Knipsel were the three election winners. Joseph Gregurich and Anita Dowd-Neufeld were bounced from their seats.

The library's 2023 budget passed by 3,012 votes to 1,132.
