Smithtown Pets Of The Week
The Smithtown Animal Shelter's Pets of the Week are Lily and Milo, two cats who have lived together for six years. You can adopt them.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Lily and Milo, two domestic short hair felines who have lived together for six years, were named the Smithtown Animal Shelter’s Pets of the Week, the Town announced.
The two cats were surrendered to the shelter when their owner fell on hard times. They have been well-loved and cared for, which is easy to see, given their affectionate nature, according to the Town.
Lily is 12 years old and FIV positive, while Milo is 6. Both cats are looking for a forever home, and both are still waiting to come out of their shells, but have shown they can be very loving to those who spend time with them. They love lounging around and being lazy, and will never say no to being petted.

Given Lily’s senior status, the best home for this duo is one willing to adopt her and Milo together.
"They’ve been together for so long that they deserve to have more good times together in a new home where they can relax and not have a care in the world," the release said.
