Smithtown Police Blotter: 2 Bank Accounts Opened After ID Theft
ALSO: A running car was stolen from a dealership in the Town of Smithtown, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Nov. 12: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Winslow Lane in Smithtown from July 27 at midnight. Someone stole a woman's identity and opened two bank accounts, police said.
- Nov. 6: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset from Nov. 5 at 10:51 p.m. Someone broke a front door at Smithtown Kia and stole car keys, police said.
- Nov. 6: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset at 6:19 a.m. A 2013 Mercedes that was left running was stolen from the parking lot of Lexus of Smithtown, police said.
- Nov. 6: Criminal mischief (third-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Smithtown at 5:30 p.m. A window was broken at James Cress Florist, police said.
