Smithtown Police Blotter: 2 iPhones Stolen In Robbery
The robber displayed what "possibly" appeared to be a gun at Smith Haven Mall before stealing the phones, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- Aug. 26: Robbery (second-degree) was reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at 10 p.m. Someone displayed what possibly appeared to be a gun at the Smith Haven Mall, stole two iPhones and then left, police said.
- Aug. 24: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Route 25A in Smithtown from Aug. 23 at 2 p.m. Someone went into an office and stole a wallet containing a credit card and driver's license, police said.
- Aug. 24: Identity theft (first-degree) was reported on Dartmouth Drive in St. James from Nov. 12, 2021, at 10 a.m. Someone used someone else's ID to open a bank credit card and made charges, police said.
