Smithtown Police Blotter: Bodybag Stolen At Business
ALSO: Two wallets were stolen, police say.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? Check out the recent crimes reported in the area between March 19 and March 25.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- March 25: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Village of the Branch at 5:13 p.m. Two men stole a Telfar cross-bodybag left on a chair in the dining area of The Fresh Market, police said. A key fob and other items were also in the bag, police said.
- March 22: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on East Main Street in Smithtown at 9 a.m. Someone swiped a wallet from someone else's gym bag at LA Fitness, police said.
- March 20: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Sixth Avenue in Smithtown at 3:40 a.m. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a driveway, police said.
