Smithtown Police Blotter: Burglar Breaks Into Smithtown Bakery
A cappuccino machine and router were damaged, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.
- April 14: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at noon. A person said a thief stole their wallet, containing cash and credit cards, while at Trader Joe’s, police said. Someone tried to use the credit cards later that day but was unsuccessful, police said.
- April 11: Burglary (third-degree) was reported on Terry Road in Smithtown from April 10 at 11:42 p.m. Someone entered Mannino’s Bagel Bakery by disabling a security camera and prying open a back door, police said. The burglar damaged multiple door frames, a Verizon router and a cappuccino machine, police said.
