Smithtown Police Blotter: Burglaries And Identity Theft Reported

There was also aggravated harassment and a few grand larcenies, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Dec. 14: Grand larceny was reported on Middle Country Road in Nesconset from Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.
  • Dec. 14: Burglary was reported on Bishops Road in Smithtown from Sept. 15 at 12:01 a.m.
  • Dec. 13: Criminal mischief was reported on Sylvan Road in Smithtown at midnight.
  • Dec. 13: Grand larceny was reported on Sybil Place in Smithtown from Dec. 2 at 4 p.m.
  • Dec. 12: Criminal mischief was reported on Highland Avenue in St. James at 4 p.m.
  • Dec. 11: Aggravated harassment was reported on Stony Brook Road in Lake Grove at 2:33 p.m.
  • Dec. 10: Identity theft (second-degree) was reported on Lakeside Avenue in Lake Grove from Dec. 8 at midnight.
  • Dec. 9: Grand larceny was reported on Brooks Avenue in Nesconset from Dec. 8 at 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 8: Burglary was reported on Clover Drive in Smithtown from Nov. 29 at 4:30 a.m.
  • Dec. 8: Criminal mischief was reported on Roman Court in Lake Grove at 11:40 a.m.
  • Dec. 8: Possession of burglary tools and petty larceny were reported at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove at 4:45 p.m
