Smithtown West Students Selected For NY State School Music Association's All-State Conference
Congratulations to the four students!
Four Smithtown High School West students were recently selected for the New York State School Music Association’s All-State Conference.
Junior Blake Carey (jazz alto saxophone/alternate) and seniors Leighann Guardino (alto II), Christine McAleer (violin/alternate) and Caitlin Unkenholz (viola) were chosen to perform in the NYSSMA All-State Conference.
The event will take place from Dec. 1 to Dec. 4 in Rochester.

The four students were chosen among thousands of student-musicians who auditioned at solo and ensemble festivals throughout the state.
