OPTIONS COMEDY NIGHT FUNDRAISER -- A SERIOUS SUCCESS!!
Options for Community Living’s Comedy Night fundraising event at the Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore was the first of more “serious” successes to come. More than 100 employees and friends came out to support Options, while enjoying the comedic talents of Eric Lyden.
In addition to the comedy show, guests had an opportunity to bid on gift baskets, which included donations from Martha Clara Vineyards, Uncle Giuseppe’s and many other area retailers. The Comedy Night raised more than $3,800, which will be used to support Options’ vital programs that provide housing and services for Long Islanders in need.
“We all had a great night!” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Options’ executive director. “We sold out of all of our tickets, and we had wonderful donated prizes to raffle. It was a thoroughly entertaining evening and a complete success for all involved.”
