Town Of Smithtown Election: Lohmann, Inzerillo & Varricchio Win
Republican incumbents Thomas Lohmann, Lisa Inzerillo and Deanna Varricchio were all re-elected to represent the Town of Smithtown.

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Election Day 2019 has come and gone. The unofficial results for Smithtown town council and receiver of taxes are in. There were two seats open on the Smithtown town council with five candidates vying for them.
For Smithtown town council, Republican incumbents Thomas Lohmann and Lisa Inzerillo led with 14,076 and 13,925 votes, respectively. Democrat Richard Macellaro (7,556 votes), Democrat Richard Guttman (7,535 votes) and Libertarian Patricia A. Shirley (414 votes) fell short. With 90 of 92 districts reporting, Patch has called the race for Lohmann and Inzerillo.
For receiver of taxes, Republican incumbent Deanna Varricchio defeated Democratic challenger Justin Smiloff by a margin of 15,574 votes to 6,740. With 90 of 92 districts reporting, Patch has called the race for Varricchio.
