Transfitnation Raises Over $1,600 For Smithtown Children’s Foundation
The funds will benefit children and families experiencing crisis in the community.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Transfitnation raised $1,673.48 for the Smithtown Children's Foundation from January to March, the Smithtown personal training center announced.
The money will benefit children and families experiencing crisis in the local community. The foundation was presented with the check in early April.
The fundraising campaign from Transfitnation included profits and proceeds from the apparel sales, Healthy Heart Charity Fitness Class, GoFundMe donations, Polar Plunge sponsorship, and polar plunge ticket sales. Transfitnation was a sponsor of the Smithtown Children's Foundation Polar Plunge, which happened on March 4.

"We would like to thank our amazing team, our generous clients, and partners for the amazing support in this fundraiser," Steve Dell’Amore, owner of Transfitnation, said in a news release. "None of this would have been possible without your help and generosity. We are excited to be giving back to our community by supporting a local charity that helps children and families who have experienced hardship."
Charles Armstrong, a youth client of Transfitnation, was diagnosed with brain cancer in June 2020. The Smithtown Children’s Foundation supported Armstrong and his family during his illness. Armstrong has since recovered and is now a writer and contributing author for the Transfitnation blog.

The Smithtown Children’s Foundation is a NY state not-for-profit and public charity, providing financial and emotional support to families living within the Smithtown School District.
