VOLUNTEERING FOR A CAUSE
VOLUNTEERS FROM ZURICH NA PLANT SEEDS OF KINDNESS FOR OPTIONS FOR COMMUNITY LIVING, INC. RESIDENCE
On Wednesday, May 15, 2015, ten employees from Zurich NA spent several hours volunteering on the grounds of a community residence owned and operated by Options for Community Living. Zurich NA employees were connected with Options through the corporate volunteer initiative Long Island Volunteer Enterprise (LIVE).
Each year, LIVE matches volunteers from companies and other organizations to assist on projects that benefit Long Island’s not-for-profit community. “With a huge piece of property to maintain and a fully functioning greenhouse, we are particularly grateful for the kindness of volunteers,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, executive director, Options for Community Living. “The Zurich NA employees were a pleasure to work with, and they did a wonderful job!”
