Ward Melville High School Key Club Members Are "Outstanding"

Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn this week recognized three “outstanding” members of Ward Melville High School’s Key Club during the Legislature’s general session. Club President Kyra Durko was honored for being named “Outstanding Key Club President” for the entire State of New York, while Shannon Dalton received the honor of “Outstanding Club Secretary.” Also honored were Erin McSweeney who was named “Outstanding Club Vice President” and the clubs advisor, Mrs. Annette Goldberg, who was selected as the State’s “Outstanding Faculty Advisor.”

Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership and is affiliated with Kiwanis International. Key Clubs assist Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world.
