Weekend Sports Scoreboard: East Football Beats West

The main event the weekend was the Saturday matchup between Smithtown East and Smithtown West's varsity football squads. East walked away victorious, besting their cross-town rivals 21-0.

Smithtown East girls varsity soccer fell on the road to Hauppauge Saturday in a 3-0 game.

Meanwhile, Smithtown East's varsity field hocky team also lost on the road Saturday in a 2-1 game against Bay Shore.

When it came to the private schools, Smithtown Christian School's varsity girls soccer team beat McGann-Mercy on the road. Final score was 6-2.
