Woman Tries To Buy Apple Laptop With Stolen Credit Card: Police

She is wanted for grand larceny, police say. Have you seen her?

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the woman who tried to use a stolen credit card at a Smith Haven Mall store in Lake Grove in September.

She tried using the card to buy a laptop from Apple on Sept. 7 around 3:15 p.m., police said. She is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
