Woman Used Fake $100 Bills To Purchase Items At Lake Grove Store: Police

LAKE GROVE, NY - Police are seeking a woman who used counterfeit currency at a Lake Grove store in May.
On May 14 at 1:30 p.m., a woman used two counterfeit $100 bills to purchase clothing at JCPenney in the Smith Haven Mall.
The woman (pictured above) is described as having a medium to heavy build.

This is the second reported incident of someone using counterfeit money at the same store.
On May 5, a woman used six counterfeit $20 bills to pay for items at the store.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
