Woman Uses $100 Counterfeit Bill At Suffolk Store
She bought a $6 item with it, police say. She is wanted for criminal possession of a forged instrument.

NESCONSET, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the woman who used counterfeit money in Nesconset in October.
A woman entered the CVS at 232 Smithtown Boulevard around 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 26 and used a counterfeit $100 bill to buy a $6 item and get cash back, police said. Police say she has a rose tattoo on her hand and finger. She is wanted for criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
