It's true...your Smithtown Library is a great place to find books. But do you also think of us as a community center where you can find opportunities to give back? We have a Long Island Blood Services Blood Drive on December 21st from 9AM-3PM at our Nesconset Branch (call 360-2480 to schedule an appointment). We're a drop-off location for Toys For Tots, we accept donations for the Smithtown Township Emergency Food Pantry and Long Island Cares, and there's a Mitten Tree at the Nesconset Branch for patrons who would like to donate new mittens, gloves, scarves and hats for children or adults. Donations accepted at all Smithtown Library locations. Together, we can all make a difference to help those in need.
