2 Soho Restaurants Rank Among Top US Dining Destinations

NEW YORK CITY — Two Manhattan restaurants from the Piccola Cucina Group have been named among the top dining destinations in the United States in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best.

Piccola Cucina Estiatorio, located at 75 Thompson Street in Soho, ranked No. 7 nationally. Led by Chef Philip Guardione, the restaurant specializes in Sicilian and coastal Mediterranean cuisine, with diners able to select fresh seafood from a market-style display. Signature dishes include octopus caprese.

Piccola Cucina Osteria, at 196 Spring Street in Soho, ranked No. 11 in the U.S. The restaurant celebrates Guardione’s native Catania with housemade pasta and traditional Sicilian dishes including pane cunzato, arancini catanese, and tableside tiramisu and cannoli.

The Piccola Cucina Group is also known for its wine program, featuring a 4,000-bottle cellar and more than 600 labels, with nearly 40% sourced from Sicily and a focus on wines from Mount Etna.

The group currently operates seven locations across New York City, Montana and Ibiza.

Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best are based on reviews and ratings submitted by travelers over a 12-month period.
