1. Jack's Wife Freda

Located at 224 Lafayette St., Jack's Wife Freda is known for it's mouth-watering Mediterranean-influenced brunch. Jack's Wife Freda has the classic avocado toast and eggs any style, but it's unique dishes like the Rosewater Waffle and the Green Shakshuka make this quaint little restaurant really stand out. Plus, the house-cured duck bacon is a must have. Pair your brunch dish with a satisfying cantaloupe mimosa or their mint lemonade to really unwind.

2. The Dutch

With impeccable service, hip decor and a great location at 131 Sullivan St., The Dutch is a must-have brunch experience when dining in SoHo. The Dutch offers a deliciously fresh oyster bar and the perfect Bloody Mary to go with it. Additionally, try out the honey butter biscuits, hot fried chicken and cornmeal flapjacks. The Dutch is a trendy place where you'll see people snapping some Instagram pictures, and the quality food and strong drinks will always live up to the hype.

3. The Cupping Room Cafe

The Cupping Room Cafe has a homey, inviting environment, plus the building is historic: It was the first "tall" building in SoHo and is more than 100 years old. The brunch items are simple and common, but mastered at The Cupping Room Cafe. Must-try's are the homemade brioche french toast and the Mexican omelette. The fresh food, attentive staff and quick service, The Cupping Room Cafe at 359 West Broadway is a staple SoHo brunch spot.

4. Hundred Acres

Hundred Acres is an affordable, relaxed brunch spot on 38 Macdougal St. The inside is spacioius and has a series of charming French doors that open up to the street. The creative, Mediterrean food is innovative and consistently good. Highlights include the cinnamon rolls to start, the brunch bowl and morcilla sausage.

5. Balthazar Restaurant

Balthazar Restaurant has a classy, French brasserie feel. Found on 80 Spring St., the building was converted from a leather wholesaler's warehouse and can accommodate over 200 people. Balthazar Restaurant is always busy around brunch, but the fresh oysters and steak frites make up for the wait. The spot is a tourist magnet that thrives with the full-house of weekend crowds.
