• From broken to beloved: Repair Café finds success in Somers (halstonmedia.com) — Somers residents recently packed the town’s first Repair Café at Somers Library, where volunteers fixed lamps, jewelry, clothing, and kitchen knives instead of sending them to the trash. The free, Earth Week event, organized by the Somers Energy and Environment Committee, also tied into local e‑waste recycling, nature programs, and clean‑energy talks, and may return this fall.
   

• Somers stays undefeated with win over Croton-Harmon (halstonmedia.com) — Somers High School’s softball team kept its undefeated season alive Friday with a 5-0 home win over Croton-Harmon at Primrose, behind strong pitching and defense. Katie Cole sparked the offense with an early RBI triple, while pitchers Emily Boyle and Mia DiChiaro combined to shut down Croton-Harmon as the Tuskers controlled the game throughout.
