• And the winners are: Budding artists depict ‘seeds of hope' in 2026 Climate Hope Art Contest (ucc.org) — A South Hempstead teen, Serena from the Congregational Church of South Hempstead, has been named the 14–17 age-group winner in a national Climate Hope Art Contest focused on “Planting Seeds of Hope.” Her artwork, along with other winners, will be used on advocacy postcards and help inspire environmental action as young artists visit congressional offices in Washington, D.C.
