Residents Evacuated Due To Riverside Propane Leak: Police

RIVERSIDE, NY — The areas around Phillips Avenue and Ludlam Avenue in Riverside are closed off and residents have been evacuated due to a propane leak Monday afternoon, police said.

Southampton Town Police, the Riverhead Fire Department and Southampton Town fire marshals are at the scene.

Residents will be allowed back to their homes when it is deemed to be safe to do so, police said.
