Bay Street Theater to Host 24th Annual Summer Gala This Weekend
The event will be hosted by Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts in Sag Harbor.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts will be hosting their 24th Bay Street Annual Summer Gala this weekend.
The event will take place in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf on Saturday July 11, to benefit Bay Street’s educational and theatrical programs.
The gala will honor former U.S. Congressman Timothy Bishop and playwright, poet, and novelist, Joe Pintauro.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP Cocktail Reception at the theater.
At 6 p.m., Bay Street Theater and Dreamworks Theatricals will be presenting a premiere concert reading of the first act of the new stage adaptation of The Prince of Egypt; book by Philip LaZebnik (writer of Mulan, Pocahontas) and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Wicked, Pippin, Godspell).

The show will feature Broadway and film stars including Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess, Phantom of the Opera, Scandal) and Aaron Lazar (The Last Ship, Les Miserables, This is Where I Leave You).
The evening will also include dinner prepared by Sterling Affairs, and a party with live and silent auctions, with celebrity auctioneer Richard Kind.
VIP tables begin at $10,000, with VIP tickets at $1,200. General admission tickets are $600, $425 for Young Professionals 40 and under.
