Southampton High School Alum to Make Broadway Debut at McDonald’s Gospelfest

Southampton, NY  – March 9, 2026 – Tramar Pettaway, a 2007 graduate of Southampton High School, is set to make his Broadway debut as a finalist male soloist at the prestigious McDonald’s Gospelfest in New York City on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

 Pettaway was selected from thousands of auditions, highlighting his talent and dedication to gospel music.

The McDonald’s Gospelfest is one of the nation’s most celebrated gospel music events, bringing together singers, choirs, and performers to share messages of faith, inspiration, and community through music. The annual event provides a platform for artists of all ages to showcase their gifts while celebrating the rich tradition and cultural impact of gospel music.

“I am honored to represent my community on this incredible stage and to share my passion for gospel music with audiences in New York City,” said Pettaway.
