Joseph Haydn and his student, Ludwig Van Beethoven, come together on a program that features both at their very best, with Bernstein’s spiky reflection on Willam Schuman and a stunning gamelan-inspired work by Gareth Farr providing counterpoint. 

The concert takes place at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church. The artists performing are Marya Martin, flute; Chad Hoopes, violin; Erin Keefe, violin; Cong Wu, viola; Carter Brey, cello; Albert Cano Smit, piano; and Ian Rosenbaum, percussion.

Learn to play the fun, challenging, and thought-provoking game of American Mah Jongg. This six-week course covers all aspects of the game, including understanding the card, selecting and playing your hand, and pick-up playing strategies, all leading to the ultimate Mah Jongg.
Attendance for the first class is required to participate in this six-week course. This is where you will learn the fundamentals of the game. By the second class, the games shall begin, and the challenge is on! Bring your Mah Jongg set to class if you have one.
To attend and register for this 6-week workshop, you must sign up by the first session on July 6. Sessions will be held on Monday: July 6, July 13, July 27, August 3, August 10, August 17

Join us for a story time in the Magnolia Bosque featuring storytellers from the Hampton Library who will keep your child enthralled with music and tales from near and far.. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and hang out for a while after the story time.&nbsp;Be sure to bring blankets, folding chairs or mats to sit on as the grass may be wet with dew in the morning.
This story time will be held as long as weather permits.&nbsp; Please contact the Hampton Library at (631) 537-0015 to confirm the event if the weather is questionable.
The Madoo Conservancy is located at 618 Sagg Main Street in Sagaponack. Parking:&nbsp;Please drive down to the cul-de-sac and come back and park on the Madoo side only, facing Sagg Main. Look for the “Madoo Parking this Side Only" signs. Please avoid blocking the driveway or parking on the curve outside Madoo.

USUALLY - Class will held under huge tent on West side of property.
If weather is very bad class will be held inside the Theater in the Southampton Arts Center.
But since we have a tent, even if it rains a little we can still hold class outside.
What to Bring!
-A comfy waterproof outdoor blanket to sit on.
-Sunscreen, sunglasses &amp; a sunhat for your little one just in case (though we should always be in the shade)
-1 or 2 dancing scarves for your child, which we use every 3-4 classes.
We will supply instruments for kids to jam on in in class! (which we clean after each class).
Please do not bring other Toys to class unless you really want to bring our shakers, Bells, Drums etc.
And DO buy yourself some instruments so your kids can jam at home too!
Don't Come to Class if You're Sick Please!
If any sign of sickness by adult or child, they MUST stay home.&nbsp;Whether it's a fever, cough or runny nose, if you have any sign of sickness you MUST stay home.&nbsp;The teacher will do the same.&nbsp;

East End Jazz Launches "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew": Free Interactive Family Jazz Concert at Madoo Gardens
SAGAPONACK, NY — Non-profit organization East End Jazz presents "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew" on Saturday, July 11th, at Madoo Gardens in Sagaponack. Offering two morning sets at 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM, this unique, multi-generational concert bridges the gap between playtime and world-class live jazz for audiences aged 1 to 99. Admission is free, with RSVP required.
The 60-minute interactive program transforms childhood favorites like "Old MacDonald" and "The Wheels on the Bus" into sophisticated, high-energy jazz arrangements, seamlessly blending nursery rhymes with 1940s bebop and the Great American Songbook. Led by bassist, bandleader, and East End Jazz Director Iris Ornig, the five-piece band of elite professional musicians gets families and jazz enthusiasts off their screens and into the rhythm section through feeling the beat, scat-singing, call-and-response patterns, and dancing.
"We wanted to create a space where the next generation doesn't just listen to music, but feels it," says Iris Ornig, Director of East End Jazz. "By pairing familiar melodies with sophisticated arrangements, we’re inviting families and jazz lovers alike to bring out their inner child and share in the spontaneous joy of this art form."
The Jazz Crew features: Lauren Lee (Vocals), Taka Otomo (Piano), John Ludlow (Saxophone), Iris Ornig (Bass), and Brian Woodruff (Drums).
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, East End Jazz strives to keep its flagship family programming free and accessible. Thanks to the support of Madoo Gardens and the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning, admission to "Tiny Toes &amp; The Jazz Crew" is FREE. While entry is free, donations are greatly appreciated to help sustain future community initiatives.

One of the Hamptons’ most anticipated summer traditions returns to Water Mill on July 25 in support of LGBTQIA+ youth. The annual “SCHOOL’S OUT” cocktail party raises money to ensure that Hetrick-Martin Institute's young people have the resources they need through the summer months when schools are closed, and resources are scarce.
