Driver, 19, Charged With DWI In Flanders: Police

He was stopped after failing to signal, police say.

FLANDERS, NY — A driver, 19, was charged with driving while intoxicated in Flanders Saturday night, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Kleyver D. Velasquez, of Shirley, was charged with misdemeanor DWI after failing to signal while turning on Flanders Road.

Police determined Velasquez was intoxicated, arrested him, and transported him to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing, authorities said. He was held for morning arraignment, police said.
